TheCabinetJoint.com – Before & After a Website Redesign

The Cabinet Joint - before and after the website redesign

I recently completed a website redesign and rebuild for thecabinetjoint.com. This site sells ready to assemble cabinets, cabinet doors, and cabinet accessories. The old site was cluttered, difficult to navigate, and only displayed products within downloadable PDFs.

With the new site, we reimagined the whole user interface, gave it a more upscale design, revamped the navigation and page structure, and added pages for every product. We also created new Request a Quote forms that were more informative and easier for customers to navigate.

I developed a custom theme for the site using WordPress as the content management system. This will allow the website owner to easily add new products, update page content, write blog posts, and more. . . basically manage all the site content himself. The WordPress custom theme includes custom post types for products, with custom taxonomies and custom fields. We created a custom homepage slider, added a chat widget, galleries for all woods and finishes, and had some custom development done to add additional functionality to Gravity Forms.

Below are some screenshots I took to show the before and after.
