This e-commerce site is optimized for smart phones and tablets. In light of Google’s recent algorithm changes, I’d say the timing of this project couldn’t have been better.
Paradox Labs handled the development, while I was involved with the user interface / user experience design.
I worked with the team at Backcountry Edge to determine content strategy and design for various page types, such as:
- The homepage
- Category pages
- Master category pages
- Single product page
- Video Library index page
- Video Library category page
- Single video page
- . . . and more
After the project, Tim, the owner of Backcountry Edge said: “Thanks for your awesome work! We couldn’t have achieved such a great look and function without your efforts.”

I’m excited to get feedback on what customers think of the new site in the coming weeks, as I’m sure there will continue to be ongoing improvements and tweaks in the coming months. Websites are not meant to be static documents, but are more like constantly changing organisms… especially in the highly-competitive e-commerce landscape.
